The Palce of Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal chateau in France. I took a tour there two years ago and while others drooled over the hall of mirrors and the gardens I was in awe of the lighting! Call it an obsession or call it being a good designer I like a good looking light fixture!!!!! A LOT!!!!!
So while most of my clients do not live in a royal chateau I like to treat them like they are royalty and give them a little something to drool over! So my advise take chances. Go big or go home is one of my theories! This one is one of my all time favorites. I put it in a clients….wait for it…. master bathroom.
Drool worthy, right?? Make your lighting make a statement. After all, it is hanging in the middle of your room.
Hang them in pairs! because if one os good the two is clearly better!
Your kids rooms deserve to have it going on too! This is a room I did for a parade of homes a couple years back and I must say this light fixture is fantabulus ( Yes, its a word I use)
Metal or wood it can all be beautiful! I like to have the bottom of a fixture about 35 inches from the table if your hanging it in a dining room or over a kitchen table.
Industrial or old school make a statement and shed a little light on your room in style!
